│ 🔓 continue → │ Pole dance is, for me, not only a physical activity but also a challenge against social norms and prejudices. This sport reshapes perceptions of the female body, focusing not on aesthetics, but on pure strength, resilience, and self-control.
Being part of a studio composed entirely of women and LGBTQ+ individuals has given me a unique space of safety, freedom, and solidarity. My journey with pole began solely as a photographer, but over time, I stepped into this art & sport field as a performer.

In this series, I curated still portraits paired with emotions reflected through their facial expressions. Each frame tells a visual story where strength and fragility coexist.
All images photographed and edited by me in Adobe Photoshop & Adobe Lightroom.

POV → Pole dance is one of the rare spaces where my creativity and physical capacity are challenged at the same time. The sport is a space for power, freedom, and self-expression—a method for processing emotions and reclaiming my own narrative. Every move requires as much strength and endurance as a weight training session, while also redefining the relationship between the body, space, and society.
In this specific choreography, I aimed to reflect a sense of accumulated weight—the constant oscillation between finding and losing oneself amidst the rush of daily life. Each sequence was designed to translate that inner restlessness into visible form.
